Makeup Obsessions

Lately I have been watching a lot of makeup videos and learning about all the great products and techniques out there. Here are two of my favorite vlogs:

As a result, I have invested in some new beauty products. And I say invested because wow this stuff is expensive! I'm not going to review them just yet, but in case you are interested here are my recent purchases:

I wanted to try a couple of new foundations - especially wanted a couple with a bit stronger SPF protection for the summer - so we'll see how these two perform.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer (oil-free)

You can buy on Ebay or sephora. $42

Shiseido Sun Protection Liquid Foundation

Buy on Ebay or place that sells full Shiseido product line (I didn't see it at the Bay). $30-32

I heard a lot of rave reviews about this stuff - so we'll see if it does indeed do anything interesting.

MAC Fix spray

You can buy online at Ebay or at MAC. $19

I also wanted to update my brush set - but I found most brushes online fakes - and the good ones in store were insanely expensive. Here's what I bought:
