Store Spotlight: House of Fraser
A few months ago I found the most beautiful sweater dress at ASOS, but unfortunately the color and size I wanted was not available. I searched around the internet and found the same dress at a store called the House of Fraser - it's a UK-based store and it is worth a look! Here's some of my recent finds there...I quite like the range of brands they sell including East, NW3, Ted Baker...

Lace and Crochet Dresses
It would be nice to find a pretty lace or crochet dress. It's a difficult search though, as I find many stores (e.g. H & M) use really cheap lace, and I imagine it wouldn't make it through one wash - and I'm not really into dry cleaning. Those that are made of a bit better material are a million dollars (well not a million, but $300 for a dress is ridiculous). Anyway, here are a few of the dresses I've been browsing.

Anthropologie Dress $295

Bebe Dress $199

New Aran Sweater Dress
Here's a look at my new custom-made aran sweater dress. I bought it from Lynda at momentum designs on Etsy - she makes many beautiful sweaters! I am looking forward to colder weather!

Winter 2011 Want: Aran Sweater (Dress)
I have wanted an Aran sweater dress for a long, long time. My mom knit me a beautiful celtic cardigan in beige, but I want something I can wear with leggings and boots this winter. I am not sure what color to buy...I think my favorite colors are charcoal grey, dark heather green, maybe brown or pumpkin. I don't know if I would go for the traditional cream color - I like it, but I'm afraid I'll spend $200 and end up staining it :). Look how gorgeous these are! I like the first one best!

More Fall Cravings
I had a little look at what ASOS has to offer for the fall - these are some of my favorites. If I had a few hundred dollars sitting around, I might be tempted, but for now I'll just have to gaze longingly.

I love these rusty brown colors and the tails on winter jackets. I'd definitely get this if it was just a little less pricey. The fur hat is neat too - fur is definitely going to be big this winter.

I hope this is a sign that there are going to be great heels out there that are at more reasonable heights!

I want something like this - but more of an antique white, cream or ivory color - hopefully with just a plain collar - rather than a high neck.

As I begin to see more of my favourite stores offerings for fall, I have been looking for a few things, but still am not sure what I will really obsess about this season.
Bright Colours
Oranges, Fuchsias, Greens - I would probably wear neutrals like browns and blacks with these.

That's all for now - though I have been trying to find some chunky jewellery. David Yurman being my most wanted for necklaces.

All Things Druzy
Druzy Jewelry
When I was searching for labradorite jewelry, I came across druzy slice jewelry. Druzy is another term for the inner cavity of a geode and it seems to be becoming population in places like etsy. Here are some of the examples I've been eying...

So for those of you who don't know, Zazzle is kind of like etsy...People make and sell a variety of products, but they are generally customizable. On my searches for graphic sneakers I came across this store: Zazzle Vintage. I love their graphic sneakers, but they also make quite a few nice t-shirts and other products - take a look!
